Background Remover privacy policy

Your photos

The app removes backgrounds from photos you pick or share to it. The cut-out, new backgrounds, shadow, outline and resizing all run on your phone. Your photos are not uploaded to us. The subject cut-out uses Google ML Kit through Google Play services, which processes the image on the device.

Results are saved to your phone's gallery (Pictures/Background Remover) only when you tap Save, or handed to another app when you tap Share. Small previews of recent results are kept in the app's private storage so they appear on the home screen; they are not backed up to the cloud.

Data collected by third-party services

  • Google AdMob (ads): device advertising ID, IP-based approximate location, app interactions and diagnostics, used to show and measure ads. In the EEA, UK and Switzerland we ask for consent first, and you can change your choice any time in the app under About → Privacy options.
  • Firebase Analytics: app usage events (for example, that a photo was saved, the background type and how many photos were in a batch) and device information. No photos or image content.
  • Firebase Crashlytics: crash reports with device and app state.
  • Firebase Remote Config: app settings such as which ad formats are switched on.

These services are provided by Google. See Google's privacy policy and how Google uses information from apps. Data is encrypted in transit. We don't sell personal data and we don't use your photos to train any model.

Your choices and deletion

Saved photos are ordinary files in your gallery; delete them there. Uninstalling the app removes its recent previews and all other local data. You can reset your advertising ID in your phone's settings. To ask about or delete data held by the analytics and crash services for your device, email us.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13.

The app is open source under GPLv2 and is built on the Telegram for Android code. It is not affiliated with Telegram.

Фото обрабатываются на телефоне и не загружаются к нам. Результат сохраняется в галерею (Pictures/Background Remover) только по кнопке «Сохранить»; небольшие превью последних работ хранятся в памяти приложения. Для рекламы используется Google AdMob (рекламный идентификатор, примерное местоположение по IP, сведения об использовании), для статистики и отчётов о сбоях — Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics и Remote Config. Содержимое фото не собирается. В ЕЭЗ, Великобритании и Швейцарии мы сначала спрашиваем согласие; изменить выбор можно в разделе «О приложении → Настройки конфиденциальности». Удалите приложение, чтобы удалить его данные; по другим вопросам пишите на mymax.inc@gmail.com.

Rasmlar telefonda qayta ishlanadi va bizga yuklanmaydi. Natija faqat «Saqlash» bosilganda galereyaga (Pictures/Background Remover) saqlanadi; so‘nggi ishlarning kichik ko‘rinishlari ilova xotirasida turadi. Reklama uchun Google AdMob (reklama identifikatori, IP bo‘yicha taxminiy joylashuv, foydalanish ma’lumotlari), statistika va nosozliklar uchun Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics va Remote Config ishlatiladi. Rasmlar mazmuni yig‘ilmaydi. EEA, Buyuk Britaniya va Shveytsariyada avval rozilik so‘raladi; tanlovni «Ilova haqida → Maxfiylik sozlamalari» bo‘limida o‘zgartirish mumkin.
